I tried three different manufacturer’s printable fabric sheets. All were 100% cotton. Of the three, EQ Printables held the ink better and gave a sharper definition to the photo being printed. However, like the other two, EQ Printables still bled some when soaked in water as directed. When I used the fabric softener/water* directions, the bleeding was commendably less. I bought these pieces for a journal quilt project. Pictures print well on them, with a fairly true-to-photo color quality. The ink stays put, which is nice (although I won’t be washing the quilt on a weekly basis or anything).
The fabric has to be thin so that the sheets will print without jamming the printer. I wasn’t too concerned about the actual quality or threadcount of the fabric for this project, but depending on the project, you might want something a little nicer.
